Nurse Managed Health Center, PT Clinic moving to STAR Campus in January

10 a.m., Dec. 16, 2013--As of January 2014, the Delaware Physical Therapy Clinic (PT Clinic) and the Nurse Managed Health Center (NMHC) will be located at the University of Delaware’s Science, Technology and Advanced Research (STAR) Campus.

Both clinics are moving into substantially expanded facilities with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment equipment.

The strategic planning working group focusing on Models for the New American Research University has been receiving input across a broad range of topics.

Schedule

The PT Clinic will see patients at the current location through Monday, Dec. 23, and will open at the new site on Thursday, Jan. 2.

The NMHC will be open for business at its current site through Thursday, Dec. 19, and will begin treating patients at the STAR Campus on Monday, Jan. 6.

Directions

From I-95: Take exit 1B-Rt. 896 to Newark. This turns into South College Avenue. Continue roughly 1.5 miles and 540 South College Avenue will be on the left. 

From Main Street/Rt. 273:  From East Main, turn left onto South College. Continue approximately 1 mile, and 540 South College Avenue will be on the right. 

Patient parking is available at the site.

Shuttle bus service

Both the South Campus and the North/South Express Shuttle routes have added new stops at the STAR Health Sciences Complex.
