TEXT SIZE

5:29 p.m., Aug. 22, 2013--The University of Delaware Library will present two identical workshops entitled “iMovie: The Essentials” during the 2013 fall semester.

iMovie builds on a history of video editing tools. Apple’s latest version of iMovie gives more flexibility than ever before. Now with themed movie trailer templates, green screen keying and traditional timeline editing, iMovie 2011’s entire editing process from beginning to end will be explored in these two hands-on workshops.

FYI Stories

Two-factor authentication

Since two-factor authentication provides more security than a simple password, UD IT recommends that it be used whenever it's offered.

Faculty climate survey

The NSF ADVANCE grant team at UD has shared the results of a faculty climate survey on topics including promotion and tenure, evaluation, merit, workload, family-friendly policies, mentoring, and career satisfaction.

The iMovie workshops are appropriate for both the beginner and the advanced user.

Identical sessions are available from 10 a.m.-noon, Thursday, Sept. 19, and from 2:30-4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2. Both will be presented by Hannah Lee, assistant librarian in the Student Multimedia Design Center, in Room B of the center on the lower level of the Morris Library.

The workshops are available at no charge and are open to UD faculty, staff and students. Seating is limited and registration is required.

Online registration is available at http://guides.lib.udel.edu/workshops. Questions regarding the workshops can be answered at 302-831-2432 or lib-workshops@udel.edu.
