Thunderstorms predicted

Hazardous weather predicted in the region


1:51 p.m., Aug. 26, 2013--The Delaware Emergency Management Agency and the National Weather Service are predicting hazardous weather in this region over the next several days. 

For Monday and Tuesday, Aug 26-27, evening thunderstorms may cause some localized drainage problems.

UD administrators continue to monitor the weather situation in light of Hurricane Joaquin.

Student support

Resources are available for UD students who are concerned or struggling with recent events on campus.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 27-28, strong to locally severe thunderstorms are possible as showers and thunderstorms move through the area. Heavy downpours from the thunderstorms could result in flooding on roadways and in areas with poor drainage.
