The Office of Development and Alumni Relations is seeking the assistance of UD employees during Alumni Weekend, which will take place June 5-7.

Housing application changes

In order to manage the occupancy of University of Delaware housing so that all second-year students who wish to live on campus for 2016-17 have the greatest opportunity to do so, the housing application process for returning and upper-division students will change significantly beginning in September 2015.
  • Lots 88 (Delaware Field House/Delaware Stadium), 103 (Athletics Complex), 105 (Bob Carpenter Center front) and 106 (Bob Carpenter Center rear) will be reserved for the football game from midnight-9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29.
  • Vehicles parked in Lot 1 (Ice Arena) must be removed by 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29.
  • Red permit holders who normally park on South Campus should park at the Science, Technology and Advanced Research (STAR) Campus in the south. Appropriate signage will be posted that day to assist drivers.
  • During these reserved periods, vehicles remaining in these parking lots are subject to relocation off campus at the owner’s expense.

To ensure proper transportation to those temporarily parking at STAR Campus, all shuttle bus routes that serve South Campus will include STAR Campus on Thursday, Aug. 29.

A reminder for those attending the football game, UD parking permits are not valid during football games. Vehicles attempting to gain entry with a UD parking permit will be directed to pay in general game-day parking.

Athletics and Parking and Transportation Services thank you in advance for your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience,” a representative said.
