Sept. 18: Ed Sheeran, Kingsfoil to perform
SCPAB to present acoustic pop singer Ed Sheeran in fall concert
2:40 p.m., Aug. 26, 2013--The University of Delaware Student Centers Programming Advisory Board will host musician Ed Sheeran and opening act Kingsfoil for its fall concert on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the Bob Carpenter Center.
The show will start at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7.

Tickets for the Sheeran concert went on sale to UD students only on Friday, Aug. 30. Cost is $20 during the first week of ticket sales. Students must have their UD ID, only one UD ID is allowed per person, and students can purchase up to four tickets per UD ID.
Tickets can be purchased at the University of Delaware Box Offices at the Bob Carpenter Center or the Trabant University Center. Box offices open at 8 a.m.
On Monday, Sept. 9, tickets will be available for $25 per ticket to the general public, UD staff, and students. Tickets can be purchased at all UD box offices or online at Ticketmaster.com.
Sheeran is an English acoustic pop star who is well known for his hit singles The A Team and Lego House.
The song The A Team won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically and was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards.
Sheeran is also known for his collaborative work with other artists such as Taylor Swift and One Direction. Most recently, Sheeran was the opener for Taylor Swift’s 2013 Red Tour.”
Kingsfoil features Jordan Davis (singer), Tristan Martin (guitarist), Tim Warren (bassist) and Frankie Muniz (drummer). Muniz is famous for his role as Malcolm on the hit show Malcolm in the Middle.
