Welcome (back) receptions announced
5:07 p.m., Aug. 21, 2013--The Office of Equity and Inclusion, in concert with 1743 Welcome Days and several caucuses, has announced a series of receptions, open to any interested employee, to kick off the new academic year and welcome new members to the UD campus.
Each reception, built around a specific community or communities, is designed to gather new or returning UD community members in a setting they may not normally encounter day-to-day. It provides an opportunity for everyone to find their place at UD. This is an occasion to meet colleagues who are like-minded, give returners a chance to reconnect and provide a forum to informally discuss any topics that may be relevant to their community.
Forums planned March 5, 9
Individuals should feel free to attend as many receptions as they are interested in. Questions regarding the receptions can be directed to the OEI at 831-8063.
