UD Botanic Gardens to hold 22nd annual benefit plant sale
8:23 a.m., April 22, 2014--The University of Delaware Botanic Gardens will hold its 22nd annual benefit plant sale on Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26, which is also Ag Day at UD.
The sale will be held in the production area across from the Fischer Greenhouse, which is behind Townsend Hall on UD’s South Campus on South College Avenue.
Feb. 9-24: 'Galileo: 400 Years'
Feb. 9: Public policy issues
Hours are from 3-7 p.m., Friday, and from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday.
Admission is free.
Hydrangeas are this year’s feature plant and attendees can pick up a free bigleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla) at the sale only when they join the University of Delaware Botanic Garden Friends now through April 26.
Also, UDBG Friends can enjoy an exclusive day to shop from 3-7 p.m., Thursday, April 24.
