Department of Communication, Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity team up in food drive
12:58 p.m., April 14, 2014--Joining forces to aid underprivileged families in the First State, the University of Delaware’s Department of Communication and the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity are accepting contributions for their biannual food drive this week.
Lambda Chi Alpha brothers will collect food and monetary donations on Wednesday, April 16, and Friday, April 18, at Pearson Hall from noon-4 p.m.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K
University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.
June 6-9: Food and culture series
The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.
All donations benefit the Food Bank of Delaware, a nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger and aiding low-income and food insecure families. Acceptable food donations include traditional, nutritional, and nonperishable household staples.
