Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation sets Planet Earth Family Day

9:59 a.m., April 28, 2014--The Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation (DASEF) will hold a Planet Earth Family Day from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, May 10, at the Big Oak Park, 585 Big Oak Road, in Smyrna.

DASEF works in cooperation with the Delaware Space Grant Consortium, of which the University of Delaware is a member as a space grant institution.

April 6-11: Public Health Week

The University of Delaware will celebrate National Public Health Week 2015, with daily events for the entire community at the Science, Technology and Advanced Research Campus from April 6-11.

April 9: Dinosaur discovery

Drexel professor and UD alumnus Kenneth Lacovara will discuss his discovery of Dreadnoughtus schrani, the most complete supermassive dinosaur skeleton ever found.

The event will feature Earth and caterpillar walks, bird migration and rain forest displays, rocket launching demonstrations, kites and refreshments.

Admission is $5, free for children 3 and younger.
