UD alumnus Roger Craig to appear on 'Jeopardy!' tonight


12:55 p.m., April 1, 2014--University of Delaware alumnus Roger Craig, who had a record-setting run on Jeopardy! in 2010 and 2011 returns to the stage of the popular game show tonight, Tuesday, April 1.

Craig, who set a one-day winnings record and ended his 2010 run with what was then the third highest total in Jeopardy! history, will appear on the Battle of the Decades: 2000s Week tournament, which will run through April 4. Contestants are battling for the chance to compete for $1 million.

Farm 'perfect fit'

Becca Manning, a graduate of UD's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, has taken interests developed in Chile to become farm manager at Delaware Greenways' Historic Penn Farm in New Castle.

New assignment

Scott R. Douglass, executive vice president and treasurer at UD, has been named vice chancellor for finance and administration at North Carolina State University, effective Jan. 11.

In 2011, Craig won the prestigious Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions.

Craig received master’s and doctoral degree in computer and information sciences from UD.
