Authors David Teague, Marisa de los Santos to sign copies of new book

12:53 p.m., April 30, 2014--David Teague and Marisa de los Santos will sign copies of their newest book, Saving Lucas Biggs, at noon, Saturday, May 10, at the Barnes and Noble University of Delaware Bookstore, 83 East Main St., Newark.

Teague is an associate professor in the Associate in Arts Program at UD, and de los Santos previously taught at UD.

April 18-19: iMusic VIII concert

The Master Players Concert Series will present "CSI: Beethoven, A Chamber Music Play" as part of the iMusic VIII presentation to be held Saturday evening, April 18, and Sunday afternoon, April 19, in Mitchell Hall.

April 20: Confucianism lecture

Peimin Ni, a leading scholar on Confucianism, will be the featured speaker in the eighth China Forum Lecture to be held at 4:30 p.m., Monday, April 20, in 205 Kirkbride Hall.

The book about a 13-year-old girl who travels through time to save her father earned a starred review from Kirkus Reviews, which said, "A riveting time–travel adventure. Strong storytelling, suspense, lyrical writing, high drama, weighty matters made accessible and a bit of humor add up to a terrific and heartwarming read." 

The coauthors, who are married, live in Wilmington.
