Black Graduate Student Association to join 'Crop Mob' event

11:29 a.m., April 9, 2014--The Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) at the University of Delaware is planning a community service event on Saturday, April 12.

BGSA will be participating in the Delaware Center for Horticulture “Crop Mob” event at SIW Vegetables in Chadds Ford, Pa.

April 6-11: Public Health Week

The University of Delaware will celebrate National Public Health Week 2015, with daily events for the entire community at the Science, Technology and Advanced Research Campus from April 6-11.

April 9: Dinosaur discovery

Drexel professor and UD alumnus Kenneth Lacovara will discuss his discovery of Dreadnoughtus schrani, the most complete supermassive dinosaur skeleton ever found.

The event will be held from 9 a.m.-noon, and the BGSA carpool will leave from the side parking lot at Morris Library at 8:15 a.m.

Last year's activities included mulching, pruning, removing protective plastic from plants and planting areas, and planting and transplanting seeds.
