Police increase patrols on campus and in neighboring community
3:56 p.m., Sept. 6, 2012--University of Delaware Police and Newark Police will be conducting joint patrols on the campus and in the neighboring community this weekend to promote safety and to respond quickly to any issues involving over consumption of alcohol and disorderly conduct.
During the evening of Friday, Sept. 7, police will be responding to any reports of underage drinking and noise violations. After the kickoff at Delaware Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 9, they will be patrolling the main campus area, as well as focusing on unruly gatherings in the community.
