2012 Homecoming 'Dare to show more spirit' photo contest set
8:46 a.m., Sept. 12, 2012--All University of Delaware colleges, departments, faculty, staff and students are invited to show their UD pride by participating in the 2012 Homecoming “Dare to show more spirit” photo contest.
The contest is sponsored by UD’s Office of Alumni Relations.

Members of the campus community are encouraged to get together with colleagues to snap a creative photograph showing Blue Hen spirit.
Prizes will be awarded to photographs judged the most popular or most spirited.
To submit an entry, email a high resolution file to the Office of Alumni Relations at alumnet@udel.edu with your name and your group's name.
The deadline for photo submissions is Friday, Oct. 12, at 4:30 p.m.
Use of Photoshop is permitted and an Alumni Relations representative said entrants should remember to “please keep it classy.”
Those who do not have a good camera can book a photographer through the Office of Communications and Marketing. For more information about UD photographic services visit OCM Photo Services.
This year's winners will be announced on Friday, Oct. 19, and the UD community is invited to vote via Qualtrics with one vote per person. Winners will receive a framed plaque to show off in their office space and bragging rights until Homecoming 2013.
Darelle Riabov, a 1973 graduate and UD Alumni Association President, will select the UDAA President’s Choice Winner. The winning entry will receive the coveted Homecoming trophy.
Special congratulations to last year's winners
The inaugural UD Alumni Association President's Choice Award went to Student Financial Services. As winners they received the Blue Cup trophy to display in the office until this year's winners are chosen.
The People's Choice Award, determined by online voting, was awarded to UD's Disaster Research Center.

Office of Alumni Relations
The Office of Alumni Relations is the chief liaison between the University and the worldwide alumni body of more than 151,000 living alumni represented by the UD Alumni Association.
