School of Nursing to hold interdisciplinary fall lecture series
2:50 p.m., Sept. 12, 2012--The University of Delaware School of Nursing will hold its 2012 Fall Lecture Series beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 19.
All lectures will take place in 114 McDowell Hall at 12:15 p.m.

Through June 3: 'Emancipation'
The UD Library has announced a new exhibition titled "Emancipation and Its Legacies," which will be on view in the Lincoln Exhibit Case in the Morris Library through Monday, June 3.
June 6-9: Garden symposium
Registration is open for the "Earth Perfect?" symposium, which will include numerous speakers and tours of notable area gardens.
The schedule is as follows:
- Sept. 19: “Metabolic Syndrome: Beyond the Medical Model,” Jennifer Saylor, assistant professor, School of Nursing;
- Oct. 10: “Context is Key: The Importance of Using Mixed Methods in Health Promotion Research,” Gregory Dominick, assistant professor, Department of Behavioral Health and Nutrition; and
- Oct. 31: “We’re Number One! Dissecting First-Year Students’ Perceptions of Health Profession Groups,” Barret Michalec, assistant professor, Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice.
