Hernandez-Kolski to open Latino Heritage Month at UD

10:06 a.m., Sept. 5, 2012--Joe Hernandez-Kolski will present “Cultural Collisions: Commentary for a Changing America” as the University of Delaware opens Latino Heritage Month activities on Wednesday, Sept. 19.

Hernandez-Kolski, a graduate of Princeton University who has performed at more than 50 colleges and universities around the country, will speak at 7 p.m. in the Multipurpose Rooms of the Trabant University Center. The talk is free and open to the public.

A two-time HBO Def Poet, Hernandez-Kolski uses spoken word poetry and comedy to explore the changing face of America while poking fun at his own ethnicity, pop culture and politics.
