Humanities center offers grants for interdisciplinary projects

2:10 p.m., Sept. 10, 2012--The College of Arts and Sciences' Interdisciplinary Humanities Research Center (IHRC) is accepting proposals for its latest round of grants, with a deadline for submission of Nov. 5.

The center offers funding to support collaborative interdisciplinary research, interdisciplinary team teaching and visiting artists and scholars. Further details about grant categories, submission guidelines and proposal templates are available on the IHRC’s website.

An information session and “lightning round” presentations about current and recent IHRC projects will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 25, from 4-5:30 p.m. in 122 Old College.

The center's mission is to strengthen faculty research and creative activity, enhance its visibility as well as its vertical integration into the curriculum and foster public engagement with the humanities.
