1:18 p.m., Sept. 20, 2012--The Hagley Graduate Fellows program has announced that members of the University of Delaware graduate student community are invited to join in an interdisciplinary “unconference” on the role of sensory perception in the human experience from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 5.

The event, titled “Making Sense of It All: An Interdisciplinary Exploration Into the Senses,” will be held in the Office of University Development, third floor, 83 E. Main St., in Newark.

Events Stories

Sept. 17: Teaching and Learning Conversation

The Center for Teaching and Assessment of Learning will hold its first Teaching and Learning Conversation about teaching critical thinking on Sept. 17.

Sept. 17: Constitution Day

James Magee, Judge Hugh M. Morris Professor of Political Science and International Relations, will speak Sept. 17 at Redding Residence Hall in commemoration of Constitution Day.

The format is a free-floating, interactive conversation circle for the purpose of providing graduate students with intellectual stimulation and scholarly networks across disciplines of the UD campus.

There will be neither a rigid time frame nor any presenters. Rather, all the participants are expected to bring informal curiosity and an eagerness to explore new perspectives.

For details, visit the “unconference” website or send email to hagley.fellows@gmail.com.
