1:18 p.m., Sept. 20, 2012--The Hagley Graduate Fellows program has announced that members of the University of Delaware graduate student community are invited to join in an interdisciplinary “unconference” on the role of sensory perception in the human experience from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 5.

The event, titled “Making Sense of It All: An Interdisciplinary Exploration Into the Senses,” will be held in the Office of University Development, third floor, 83 E. Main St., in Newark.

Events Stories

Dec. 1: Inspirational webinar

A compelling webinar featuring University of Delaware alumnus David Mays, a member of the Class of 2002, will be offered at noon, Monday, Dec. 1.

Dec. 2: Meet with the provost

UD students, faculty and staff are invited to meet with Provost Domenico Grasso in an open-format, town hall meeting Dec. 2.

The format is a free-floating, interactive conversation circle for the purpose of providing graduate students with intellectual stimulation and scholarly networks across disciplines of the UD campus.

There will be neither a rigid time frame nor any presenters. Rather, all the participants are expected to bring informal curiosity and an eagerness to explore new perspectives.

For details, visit the “unconference” website or send email to hagley.fellows@gmail.com.
