Events Stories

Oct. 1: Lessons of love

Jayne Smith, who underwent a near-death experience while giving birth to her second child, will share her insights at a lecture that will be telecast in the Health Sciences Complex Atrium at the University of Delaware's STAR Campus on Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 3- 4:30 p.m.

Oct. 1: CNN's Hamby to speak

The University of Delaware's National Agenda speaker series will present CNN Digital national political reporter Peter Hamby at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 1, in Mitchell Hall.

The format is a free-floating, interactive conversation circle for the purpose of providing graduate students with intellectual stimulation and scholarly networks across disciplines of the UD campus.

There will be neither a rigid time frame nor any presenters. Rather, all the participants are expected to bring informal curiosity and an eagerness to explore new perspectives.
