Seniors give back

The Class of 2013 has achieved record-breaking participation in its senior class gift campaign, supporting areas of campus about which students are passionate.

Research collection

The University of Delaware Library has announced the opening of the Littleton and Jane Mitchell papers.

Appointments

Justin Wing, head of the Library Information Technology User Support Department, University of Delaware Library, has been appointed by the WorldCat Local Product Manager of OCLC (Online Computer Library Center) based in Columbus, Ohio, to serve on the WorldCat Local User Group Leadership Team of OCLC.

Honors

The city of Wilmington recognized interns and mentors in the Green Jobs Program at an Aug. 15 reception on the Christina Riverfront. Martha Corrozi Narvaez, associate policy scientist in the Institute for Public Administration, and Mandy Tolino, who received a master’s degree in urban affairs and public policy from UD in 2009 and who works as an urban forest administrator for the city’s Department of Public Works, were among the mentors honored.

Publications

Alden Snell, instructor of instrumental music education, "A Multi-Phase Examination of Advanced Measures of Music Audiation at Three American Schools of Music" was published in Audea, Vol. 15, No. 1, pp. 9-17 (2012).
