Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation sets 'Dinosaurs to Space' event

11:22 a.m., Sept. 11, 2012--The Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation will hold a “Dinosaurs to Space” family fundraising event from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Environmental Outpost, 140 Dinosaur Dr., in Smyrna.

The event will feature NASA moon rocks and meteors, Space Shuttle memorabilia, a scaled planetary walk, rocket launching demonstrations and a spacesuit from ILC Dover.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

Refreshments and food will be available. Cost is $5, with children 3 and younger admitted free of charge.
