Oct. 6: Community cleanup
Campus community can participate in Newark's fall cleanup
8:32 a.m., Sept. 25, 2012--The University of Delaware campus community is invited to join in the city of Newark’s fall community cleanup from 9-11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 6.
Participants will meet at the Newark Municipal Building on Elkton Road, and gloves and trash bags will be provided.

Through June 3: 'Emancipation'
The UD Library has announced a new exhibition titled "Emancipation and Its Legacies," which will be on view in the Lincoln Exhibit Case in the Morris Library through Monday, June 3.
June 6-9: Garden symposium
Registration is open for the "Earth Perfect?" symposium, which will include numerous speakers and tours of notable area gardens.
Jennifer Pyle, UD environmental health and safety officer, said the cleanup is of particular benefit to the storm water management program in helping keep trash out of local creeks and streams.
