Oct. 25: Cardinal Tumi to speak
African cardinal to speak at UD's Roselle Center for the Arts
8:30 a.m., Sept. 6, 2012--Christian Cardinal Tumi, a cardinal priest and archbishop emeritus of Douala in Cameroon, will visit the University of Delaware for a presentation on Thursday, Oct. 25.
Tumi will speak on “Contemporary Challenges in Education in Africa” at 6:30 p.m. in the Thompson Theatre of the Roselle Center for the Arts on Orchard road.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K
University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.
June 6-9: Food and culture series
The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
The talk is being presented by UD’s Department of Black American Studies and the African Studies Program in collaboration with Africana of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.
