Oct. 5: Capture the Flag

Student organization OPT4 plans second alternative event of semester

7:41 a.m., Sept. 19, 2012--The registered student organization OPT4 will organize several events for University of Delaware students to promote safe decision-making and provide an alternative to drinking this year.

The second event, a capture the flag contest, will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 5, on the Independence turf field on the Laird campus.

May 23: Ocean Currents Lecture

The College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment's Ocean Currents Lecture Series kicks off on May 23 in Lewes with Mark Warner discussing the future of coral reefs.

May 24: Adelante

The campus community is invited to attend the inaugural Adelante: Latino-Hispanic Graduation Celebration, sponsored by UD's Center for Black Culture, at 4 p.m., Friday, May 24.

All students are welcome to come to the event where they can play capture the flag, listen to DJ Amaze and enjoy mocktails.

OPT4 is an RSO consisting of students who promote safe decision-making amongst their peers by encouraging students to attend activities and join clubs. Student Wellness and Health Promotion provides additional funding and guidance to OPT4.
