Blue Hen Marketing Club sets annual 'Meet the Marketers' career fair
8:50 a.m., Oct. 9, 2012--The Blue Hen Marketing Club at the University of Delaware will hold its annual “Meet the Marketers” career fair from 1-3:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 12, in the Alfred Lerner Hall Atrium.
The career fair provides business education students, specifically marketing majors, with the opportunity to speak with prospective employers in a smaller setting. It is open to all students.
Oct. 1: CNN's Hamby to speak
Oct. 1-Dec. 19: 'Dylan Thomas at 100'
The fair is completely run by students on the Blue Hen Marketing Club executive board with assistance from the UD Career Services Center.
Company representatives from JPMorgan Chase, DuPont, Vanguard, Citi, Macy's, AB and C, and many more will be present on Friday.
The Blue Hen Marketing Club is a registered student organization that serves as an on campus marketing resource for students, by students. The club’s goal is to provide resources that make the search for marketing news, jobs, and internships easier.
This past year, the club had approximately 250 members who came from a wide variety of majors.
The club hosts many different events throughout each semester for members, including trips to New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
