English Language Institute offers evening class program, Nov. 14-Feb. 4

12:36 p.m., Oct. 8, 2012--The University of Delaware’s prestigious English Language Institute is now enrolling students in its nine-week, Semi-Intensive Evening Class Program, which will be held from Nov. 14 to Feb. 4, 2013.

Designed to accommodate busy “9-to-5” schedules, the program offers visiting scholars, graduate students and their spouses a cost-effective opportunity to improve their English language skills.

IT Tech Fair

UD faculty and staff members are invited to attend the 2014 UD Tech Fair on Oct. 28 in the Trabant University Center to explore new technology.

Long-term care

UD's Office of Human Resources has announced a special open enrollment period for the Long-Term Care Insurance Program from Oct. 20 through Nov. 21.

Two courses are available: “Understanding and Using Written English,” which concentrates on reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary; and “Understanding and Using Spoken English,” which concentrates on listening, speaking and pronunciation skills.

Students will be enrolled based on their individual language level (beginner, intermediate or advanced). Final testing to determine individual language levels is Wednesday, Nov. 14.
