Facilities and Auxiliary Services to upgrade Maximo work order system this weekend
2:31 p.m., Nov. 5, 2012--The University of Delaware's Maximo work order system is scheduled for an upgrade and will be unavailable Thursday, Nov. 8, to Monday, Nov. 12.
During the upgrade, customers are urged to report any maintenance issues with an online fixit form or by calling 302-831-1141.
First Friday Roundtable
Maintenance customer service supervisor John Schwander says the upgrade will improve the system’s dependability and speed, “as well as provide a foundation for future customer-oriented improvements.”
Schwander says customers can expect the following starting at 4 p.m., Thursday, through 8 a.m., Monday:
- The RFS-Facilities web form will not be available. All RFS-Facilities web forms must be approved by the requesting department by 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8.
- Facilities customer service representatives will not have access to existing work order information.
- The work order cost report will not be available. Effective 8 a.m., Monday, Nov. 12, please ensure your bookmarks point to www.facilities.udel.edu/facilitiesworkordercostreport.aspx to access the Maximo Reports Portal.
