Career Services video contest finalists selected, online voting begins

12:03 p.m., Nov. 30, 2012--The University of Delaware Career Services Center has identified six finalists for its 2012 promotional video contest.

The contest will now shift to an online vote for first, second and third place with cash card prizes of $600, $300 and $100, respectively.

New endeavor

UD President Patrick T. Harker announced March 2 that he will step down as president to become president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. His new appointment is effective July 1.

Forums planned March 5, 9

The Faculty Senate Commission on Sexual Harassment and Assault, which is working in concert with UD's Title IX coordinator, has scheduled forums on March 5 for graduate students and March 9 for the entire campus community.

Students and members of the campus community can vote by going to this website.

Career Services announced the video contest at the beginning of the semester, and submissions were due by Nov. 27. The Career Services Center, consisting of staff and students, identified the six finalists.

Online voting has already started and will conclude at noon on Thursday, Dec. 6.
