Prevent theft

Secure your personal property at all times

11:06 a.m., May 10, 2013--University of Delaware Police remind all members of the University community to make sure their personal property is secure at all times and not to leave it unattended.

Recently, several cellphones and wallets have been taken from unsecured lockers and other areas in Carpenter Sports Building. To prevent theft, all personal property should be placed inside secure lockers.

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

Library photo ID

Starting July 1, University of Delaware Library visitors without ONEcards must provide school-issued identification or state or government-issued photo identification when signing in at the Welcome Desk.

Students and employees also are reminded that the Carpenter Sports Building guest policy allows you to bring in a guest who is visiting campus at a charge of $5 per guest per day. Guests must be accompanied by their sponsors at all times, and sponsors are responsible for their guests' behavior. 

Questions about the guest policy should be directed to Recreation Services staff members.
