May 17: 'Leadership Matters'
Taylor featured as Employee Education and Development series continues
10:29 a.m., May 13, 2013--Monica Taylor, vice president of University Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Delaware, will be featured in the next “Leadership Matters” session offered by the Office of Human Resources’ Employee Education and Development.
The session will be held from 10-11 a.m., Friday, May 17, in the Ewing Room in Perkins Student Center.

The popular new series provides a forum for UD leaders to share their own experiences and best practices with regards to leading others and the importance of leading by example.
Taylor joined the University in September of 2007. Previously, she served as executive director of external affairs of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In this role, she oversaw alumni relations programming worldwide for Wharton's undergraduate and graduate alumni and managed the operations for the Wharton School's Campaign for Sustained Leadership.
Taylor’s prior work experience includes development positions for the University of Pennsylvania, the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games, the U.S. Olympic Committee and Georgetown University's alumni and university relations office.
She is a graduate of Georgetown University, and holds a law degree from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University.
Taylor is an active member of the Artisan's Bank board of directors.
