UD Alumni Weekend to feature Dela-bration, reunions
8:30 a.m., May 10, 2013--The University of Delaware Alumni Weekend will be held May 31-June 2 on campus, with a variety of activities.
More than 4,000 alumni and friends are expected to attend the signature event, which will feature dancing at the Mug Night Dela-bration, class reunions, overnight stays in residence halls and lunch with the mascots, including YoUDee and mascot team alumni.

Thursday, May 16, 5:30 p.m.: Chicago happy hour. The Chicago Alumni Club will hold a networking happy hour at American Junkie, 15. W. Illinois St. Chicago alumni meet the third Thursday of each month.
Friday, May 17, 6:30 p.m.: Richmond wine tasting. The Richmond Alumni Club will offer a spring evening of hors d'oeuvres, wine and live music on the patio at James River Cellars in Glen Allen.
Monday, May 20, 6:30 p.m.: Athletics Spring Tour stops in Rehoboth. UD Athletics invites Blue Hens to join Athletic Director Eric Ziady and UD coaches for a fun-filled evening at Applebee’s in Rehoboth Beach.
Thursday, May 23, 5 p.m.: Baltimore happy hour. The Baltimore Alumni Club will host happy hour at MEX, 26 Market Place, in Baltimore.
Tuesday, May 28, 6:30 p.m.: Athletics Spring Tour stops in Wilmington. The final stop on the Athletics Spring Tour, featuring Athletic Director Eric Ziady and Blue Hens coaches, will be held at Applebee’s Wilmington on Rocky Run Parkway.
Tuesday, May 28, 7 p.m.: Boston baseball watch party. The Boston Alumni Club will host a watch party at the Asgard in Cambridge as the Red Sox face the Philadelphia Phillies.
Thursday, June 6, through Sunday, June 9: Earth Perfect? symposium. Alumni are invited to attend the four-day symposium, “Earth Perfect? Nature, Utopia and the Garden” to be held at a variety of locations, including UD, Longwood Gardens and Winterthur.
Saturday, June 8, 10 a.m.: Lewes farm event. Alumni are invited to a “Blue Hens and Holsteins” event at the Hopkins family’s Green Acres Farm and creamery in Lewes, Del. The event offers a chance to see a working dairy farm.
Sunday, June 9, 11:30 a.m.: Baseball series: Long Island. Alumni can enjoy a day at Bethpage Ballpark in Islip, N.Y., to see the 2012 Atlantic League champion Long Island Ducks take on the Maryland Blue Crabs. There will be an unlimited picnic buffet.
Sunday, June 9, 12:15 p.m.: Baseball series: Lehigh Valley. Alumni can visit Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, Pa., to see the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs. The event will feature a pre-game picnic.
