To ensure the success of this year's project, volunteers are needed. Since the project is congruent with UD's sustainability initiatives, employees who wish to volunteer their time during working hours are allowed to do so, with the following considerations:
• Employees must alert their supervisors for their desire to participate in the project and receive approval in advance.
• Both administrators and employees should understand that participation in this project does not require the use of personal vacation time.
The UDNI site will be open from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., on May 20, 21, 22 and 23 and from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on May 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30 and 31. (The site is closed on Memorial Day, May 27). Final sale day will be from 8 a.m.-noon, Saturday, June 1.
Please note, the days when most help is needed are May 21, 22, 23, 29, 30 and 31, as well as on the May 25-26 weekend shifts.
Volunteers will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all slots are filled. Three to five volunteers are needed each day.
To volunteer, please contact Deb Hoff McCredie, assistant University secretary and co-chair of UDNI, at 302-831-8498 or mcdeb@udel.edu. Please be sure to include the days you would be available to volunteer.
