University Bookstore announces arrival of NCAA tournament T-shirts

10:28 a.m., March 28, 2013--The Barnes and Noble University of Delaware Bookstore has announced that NCAA Division I women’s basketball championship tournament T-shirts are now available.

The Sweet 16 shirts cost $21.98.

As it neared time for the processional to open the University of Delaware Commencement ceremonies, graduating students and faculty members shared their feelings about what the event means to them.

Doctoral hooding

It was a day of triumph, cheers and collective relief as more than 160 students from 21 nations participated in the University of Delaware's Doctoral Hooding Convocation held Friday morning on The Green.

A second shipment of tournament shirts sold out on Friday. Shirts are now available for pre-order on the UD Bookstore website. 

In addition to the tournament gear, Blue Hens fans can stock up as all other non-tournament related UD short sleeve T-shirts will be on sale for 25 percent off. The sale is good through Saturday, March 30.

UD Bookstore hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday, March 28, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30. The store will be closed Sunday, March 31.

Regular spring semester hours will resume Monday, April 1.
