Reviresco June run

UD ROTC cadets will run from New York City to Miami this month to raise awareness about veterans' affairs.

Ambassadors encourage school spirit, foster connections between alumni and students, support the Office of Alumni Relations, serve as advisory board members to the University community and aspire to be active UD alumni after graduation.

A total of 55 applicants applied to become ambassadors. Candidates were narrowed down and invited to attend the Selection Brunch, where they were interviewed by employees of Development and Alumni Relations and engaged alumni.

“It was a tough decision by the current ambassadors because the candidate pool was extremely strong, but they feel they have chosen a great group of new members,” says Regina Donato, associate director of reunion and student programs at the Office of Alumni Relations.

The new members are: Meagan Walsh, Derek Sollazo, Carina Gomez, Alexandria Mlkvy, Brielle Gerry, Mackenzie Rowe, Jessi Gerowitz, Eliza Carroll, Carolyn Beatty, Michael Gilmartin, Niketa Dixit, Kathleen Cramer, Kendall Barger, Alexandra Nau, Alyssa Barone, Carter McKennon, Rebecca Jaeger, Daniel McCreary, Clare Lehnus, Jennifer Fernandez, Margaret O’Brien, Kelsey Edmond, Erin Dugan, Max Connor, Mary Kate Griffin, Alina Gilman, Hailey Fuzak and Jason Halpern.

The new members participated in an orientation and networking training session and are looking forward to becoming valuable members of UDSAA and future alums.

The UDSAA recruitment committee encourages all undergraduate students interested in applying to do so next spring. For more information about the Student Alumni Ambassadors, visit www.UDconnection.com
