Secure your personal property at all times

11:11 a.m., March 14, 2013--University of Delaware Police remind members of the University community to make sure their personal property is secure at all time and not to leave it unattended.

Recently there have been several thefts of cellphones and wallets from unsecured lockers at the Carpenter Sports Building. To prevent theft, all personal property should be placed inside secure lockers.

Shuttle changes

University of Delaware Transportation Services has announced that it will implement several changes to shuttle bus routes.

Housing application opens Sept. 1

UD students who are at least second-year students and recent transfers with at least 30 credits as of Sept. 1 must apply for upper-division housing by Sept. 30 to be guaranteed housing for the 2016-17 academic year.

Students and employees also are reminded that the Carpenter Sports Building guest policy allows you to bring in a guest who is visiting campus at a charge of $5 per guest per day. Guests must be accompanied by their sponsors at all times, and sponsors are responsible for their guests' behavior. 

Questions about the guest policy should be directed to Recreation Services staff members.
