Fans can show their Blue Hen spirit using social media

1:26 p.m., March 21, 2013--As the Blue Hen women prepare for the 2013 NCAA Division I women’s basketball championship tournament at the University of Delaware, fans are invited to share in the excitement through UD social media.

Using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Storify, members of the University community can show their support for the team as they take on West Virginia University in the first round of the tournament Sunday, March 24.

University of Delaware junior Claire Brown has been named second team Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association All-Region.

Unsung Hero

The One Love Foundation has announced that University of Delaware men's lacrosse standout Elijah Conte has been selected as a winner of the 2016 YRL Unsung Hero Award.

Fans are encouraged to follow UD Athletics on Facebook and Twitter for updates leading up to and during the tournament, and can tweet and take Instagram pictures using the hashtags #BlueHens, #ncaaW and #sportsDE. Tweets and pictures using those hashtags will be compiled in a story on the University’s Storify page.
