IGS is funding four proposals focused on Latin America and Africa as part of its Latin American Regional Knowledge Network and the UD-Africa Initiative. Recipients are expected to present a lecture on their work as part of a global lecture series at UD.
The amount of each grant will depend on the scope of the support requested but cannot exceed $5,000. Funds must be spent between June 1, 2013, and May 30, 2014. The deadline for applications is March 18.
Proposals must include the following:
- A two-page narrative explaining the significance of the project and potential contributions to the field;
- A budget page and justification for the line items; and
- A curriculum vitae.
Send an application via email to Bess Davis at esdavis@udel.edu. A faculty committee will review the proposals and make recommendations. Questions should be addressed to Julio Carrión, director of CGAS, at jcarrion@udel.edu. Grant recipients will be notified by April 15.
