Bob Dylan and his Band to perform at Bob Carpenter Center

11:04 a.m., March 4, 2013--The legendary Bob Dylan and his Band will appear with special guest Dawes at the University of Delaware's Bob Carpenter Center at 8 p.m., Friday, April 12.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, March 8, through Ticketmaster, charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000 or the University of Delaware box offices at the Bob Carpenter Center and the Trabant University Center.

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

A presale for UD students, faculty and staff will be held from 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 6, through 10 p.m., Thursday, March 7.  A special UD student price of $33.50 per ticket will be available for a limited time. 

Presale tickets will be on sale at both UD box offices, and students, faculty and staff will need to show ID.  They also will be available through Ticketmaster, where UD students should use the password "Dylan," and faculty and staff should use the password "Bob."

Dylan has played The Bob twice before. He presented the first concert in the facility when it opened in the fall of 1992, and he appeared again at The Bob on Feb. 23, 1998.
