Delta Sigma Theta seeks participants for 'Artistic Expression' event

9:41 a.m., March 20, 2013--The Mu Pi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta sorority at the University of Delaware is seeking participants for its 12th annual “Artistic Expression” program to be held in May.

“Artistic Expression” is an annual event that provides UD students an opportunity to showcase their talents through various art forms, including music, dance, poetry, etc.

New Student Orientation

UD will launch its monthlong New Student Orientation on Tuesday, June 18.

The event is a competition. The first and second place winners will have an opportunity to win $200 and $100 respectively. 

“Artistic Expression” will be held on Friday, May 3, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6, at the Trabant University Center.

Those who are interested in participating should contact Shirleeah Fayson no later Monday, April 1.

The screening and selection of potential participants will take place on Saturday, April 6. 

To participate, the chapter is asking for a $20 entrance fee no later than Wednesday, April 10.
