Delaware Health Care Commission's Bettina Riveros to discuss healthcare reform
6:08 p.m., March 8, 2013--Bettina Riveros, chair of the Delaware Health Care Commission, will discuss the Affordable Care Act and the state of Delaware's preparation for its implementation from a public health sector perspective at 5 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, in Room 205 Kirkbride Hall at the University of Delaware.
The free public talk is part of a lecture series on contemporary issues being presented by the School of Public Policy and Administration in connection with a one-credit course.

Riveros serves as adviser to Delaware Gov. Jack Markell on health care reform and is an executive board member of the Delaware Health Information Network (DHIN).
Most recently, she worked as the director of product development and corporate counsel with Corporation Service Company (CSC), an international legal technology and services company headquartered in Wilmington. She previously served as deputy counsel to Gov. Thomas R. Carper. A graduate of Juniata College, she earned a law degree from Villanova University School of Law.
