Severe weather predicted

Strong storms predicted in the area Thursday

5:05 p.m., June 12, 2013--The Delaware Emergency Management Agency is predicting that a strong storm system will bring the threat of severe weather and flooding to the region on Thursday, June 13.

Rainfall amounts of 1 to 4 inches are expected, with the higher amounts over northern portions of the forecast area.

Feb. 10: UD basketball

The University of Delaware Office of Human Resources has announced that employees are invited to attend the Blue Hens men's basketball game on Tuesday evening, Feb. 10, at the Bob Carpenter Center.

Managing faculty data

A demonstration of Activity Insight, a software system to gather and report faculty data, will be held Feb. 13 at UD Faculty Commons.

According to DEMA, given the recent heavy rainfall, any additional significant rainfall brings the threat of widespread flash flooding and river flooding. 

DEMA reports that tornadoes, strong damaging winds and large hail are all threats to the region on Thursday.
