App for safety

UD now has a smartphone safety app that helps prevent crime and enables police better respond to incidents, making students even safer while at school.

Catering update

UD's policy on the use of external catering services on campus has been changed to provide departments with additional options.

NWS said this means that conditions are favorable for the formation of tornadoes in the area.

In addition, strong to severe thunderstorms are possible with heavy downpours, wind gusts to 70 miles per hour and hail to 1.5 inches in diameter.

NWS advises residents to continue to monitor the weather and take any necessary precautions.
