2:18 p.m., June 6, 2013--The spring semester may have concluded, but the University of Delaware’s Dining Services remain in motion as summer courses and events commence.

Campus Stories

New endeavor

UD President Patrick T. Harker announced March 2 that he will step down as president to become president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. His new appointment is effective July 1.

Forums planned March 5, 9

The Faculty Senate Commission on Sexual Harassment and Assault, which is working in concert with UD's Title IX coordinator, has scheduled forums on March 5 for graduate students and March 9 for the entire campus community.

Grille Works, located in the Scrounge at the Perkins Student Center, now offers “$5 Daily Deals” with a wide variety of meals --from Meatball Mondays to Wednesday Wrap-Day to Friday's Blue Plate Special -- including chicken parmesan, grilled vegetable wraps, roasted turkey and stuffing, and chili cheese hot dogs.

The Food Court in Trabant University Center will operate from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.,  Monday-Friday. The Food Court will add additional hours during Delaware Discovery Days and provide lunches for New Student Orientation participants from June 18-July 17.

UD Dining Services also offers meal plans applicable to the Pencader Dining Hall. Meal plans may be purchased for the first and second summer sessions, as well as a seven-and-a-half week session from June 2-July 25. Pencader Dining Hall will be serving three meals on the weekdays, as well as brunch and dinner on the weekends.
