Blue Hen Says is UD’s social media account for students, by students, and it is where to go to stay up to date with what fellow Blue Hens are into and talking about at UD.
New Blue Hen of the Day
Students who “like” Blue Hen Says on Facebook the morning they arrive for NSO will be entered to be that day’s “NSO New Blue Hen of the Day.” Each day during lunch, a winner will be announced, given a prize, and have their picture taken to be featured on Blue Hen Says.
#UDWelcome
Twitter, Instagram and Vine users can share the excitement of NSO – which opens Tuesday, June 18, and continues to Wednesday, July 17 – by using the hashtag #UDWelcome.
Those tweets, pictures and videos will be pulled into a Storify story that will cover the beginning of the 2013-14 academic year.
Through fun campus activities and the use of social media, NSO aims to generate excitement and a sense of school pride that will thrive and last throughout the new students’ college careers.
