TEXT SIZE

11:48 a.m., June 20, 2013--University of Delaware Information Technologies has created a portal page for easy access to its high-performance computing services.

The page highlights a new HPC On-Demand service that allows UD faculty, staff and students to make limited use of certain HPC resources. Using the free service, clients can submit files for processing and download the results. Jobs take advantage of CPU cycles that would otherwise be unused.

2FA protects you

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

The new portal page links to the UD HPC Wiki, a comprehensive site that offers details on IT-supported HPC hardware and software, instructions on their use, in-house tutorials and workshops and webinars hosted by external organizations.

Clients can also learn about hpc-ask, a Google group for stimulating interaction within UD’s broader HPC community; available documentation and training; national cyber resources; and IT and department-managed computing clusters.

For more information, see the UD HPC Portal page.
