Caterpillars will be focus of field trip at UD Botanic Gardens

9:57 a.m., July 11, 2012--Brian Cutting, research associate in the University of Delaware Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology, will lead a field trip to study caterpillars on Saturday, July 28.

The field trip will begin at 10 a.m. at the UD Botanic Gardens next to Townsend Hall.

Oct. 2-Dec. 7: Greek, Roman antiquities

An exhibition featuring Greek and Roman antiquities will be on view at the University of Delaware's Old College Gallery from Oct. 2-Dec. 7.

Oct. 3: Arts advocacy

An Oct. 3 conference will bring Delaware arts organizations together to address the need to expand their audiences.

The trip will include information on how to identify caterpillars, what they eat, what they become as adults, what the adults eat and what the adults pollinate.

Participants can park in front of the UD Ice Arenas and meet in front of the UDairy Creamery.
