Caterpillars will be focus of field trip at UD Botanic Gardens
9:57 a.m., July 11, 2012--Brian Cutting, research associate in the University of Delaware Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology, will lead a field trip to study caterpillars on Saturday, July 28.
The field trip will begin at 10 a.m. at the UD Botanic Gardens next to Townsend Hall.

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.
June 6-9: Food and culture series
The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.
The trip will include information on how to identify caterpillars, what they eat, what they become as adults, what the adults eat and what the adults pollinate.
Participants can park in front of the UD Ice Arenas and meet in front of the UDairy Creamery.
