Also at the booth will be several colleges, departments and programs, including the College of Education and Human Development, Associate in Arts Program, Delaware Stars, College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment, Development and Alumni Relations and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Additionally, the UDairy Creamery will have a booth in the Delaware Building where it will be selling ice cream from noon-8 p.m. daily. The UDairy Creamery and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources extend a special thanks to Burris Logistics in Harrington for making it possible to have UDairy ice cream at the State Fair by providing transportation and storage at its facility.
Beyond the Delaware Building, Delaware 4-H, sponsored by the Cooperative Extension Service of the University of Delaware and Delaware State University, continues its long standing presence at the Delaware State Fair with youth age 5-19 participating in exhibits, demonstration projects and judging competitions throughout the week. The Cooperative Extension programs of University of Delaware and Delaware State University will co-host a booth in the Commodities Building, where they will showcase programs in youth development, family and consumer sciences, agriculture and natural resources, and home horticulture. UD Cooperative Extension experts also assist with many fair exhibits and events throughout the week.
