Library provides online access to 'Statistical Abstract of the United States'

8:40 a.m., Jan. 30, 2013--The University of Delaware Library has announced online access to the Statistical Abstract of the United States, which is available via the library web page or directly at this site.

This resource, which was previously provided by the U.S. Census Bureau, is now available through the vendor ProQuest and has been added to the Library Databases web page for online licensed access by UD students, faculty and staff.

The Statistical Abstract of the United States provides statistical tables and charts covering various aspects of social, political and economic life. Although the emphasis is on the United States, some tables cover regions, states, cities, and comparative international statistics. Information for the product is gathered from all agencies of the federal government and from private, commercial, and professional sources.
