SCPAB sets free back to school concert featuring MTK

8:35 a.m., Jan. 30, 2013--The Student Centers Programming Advisory Board (SCPAB) at the University of Delaware will host a free back to school event on Thursday night, Feb. 7, featuring a performance by the artist MTK. 

The event is open only to UD students.

April 6-11: Public Health Week

The University of Delaware will celebrate National Public Health Week 2015, with daily events for the entire community at the Science, Technology and Advanced Research Campus from April 6-11.

April 9: Dinosaur discovery

Drexel professor and UD alumnus Kenneth Lacovara will discuss his discovery of Dreadnoughtus schrani, the most complete supermassive dinosaur skeleton ever found.

The concert will start at 8:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Rooms of the Trabant University Center, with doors opening at 8. It will run until 11.

SCPAB will cater breakfast foods from 10:30 p.m. until 1 a.m., including pancakes, sausage, bacon, fruit, and coffee or tea. 

There will also be a free raffle for students to enter, giving them a chance to win one of two $50 gift cards to the University Barnes and Noble Bookstore.

DJ MTK, formally known as Milly Badison, is originally from Richmond, Va., and is known for creating a unique performance. With his combination of visuals and sound, MTK gives the audience a different electronic experience. He is currently signed with the record label Deep Coast.
