9:28 a.m., Jan. 9, 2013--The University of Delaware’s Fred Rust Ice Arena will be the host site for the fifth DFRC Hockey for a Cause event at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 10.
The event will feature a game between St. Mark’s High School and Salesianum School, to be followed by a game featuring alumni from the two high schools.
Feb. 11: Diversity Open Forum
Feb. 12: 'Thinking Geographically'
Tickets cost $5 and can be purchased from members of both teams. On the night of the event, tickets will be available at the door, beginning at 6 p.m.
For fans attending the game, there will be opportunities to bid on silent auction items, as well as participate in “Chuck-a-Puck” for prizes during each of the two ice hockey matches.
DFRC Hockey For A Cause has raised almost $20,000 for charities during the past four years, and proceeds from this year’s event will, once again, support, the DFRC Blue-Gold All-Star Program.
