Black Graduate Student Association announces spring mixer

2:17 p.m., Jan. 31, 2013--The Black Graduate Student Association at the University of Delaware will hold a “Spring Welcome Back Mixer” from 6-7:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 7, in the Mechanical Hall Gallery.

The event will feature food, conversation and a private viewing of the new art exhibition “In/Visible Seams” featuring work by Fatimah Tuggar.

Richard Davison, University of Delaware professor emeritus of English, will discuss "Actors on Acting" during a presentation at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 22, at the Newark Senior Center.

Sept. 22: 'Disabled Upon Arrival'

Jay Dolmage, associate professor at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, will present a talk titled "Disabled Upon Arrival: Technologies of Disablement and Racialization at the Border" at 3:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 22, in 127 Memorial Hall.

The University Museums’ Mechanical Hall Gallery is on North College Avenue, between Old College and the Carpenter Sports Building.
